About Me

About Me

Proud member of The Pet Professional Guild British Isles (Association of Force Free Pet Professionals) and NARPS UK (The National Association of Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers). My name is Lianne Bowen, I've just turned 50, am of course insured, hold a DBS certificate and a bang-up-to-date City & Guilds in Cat & Dog First Aid.

I began housesitting in 2016 after studying for a Post Grad in Documentary Photography from the University of Wales. From year-long, off-grid, Spanish house sitting assignments, doting on packs of Spanish rescue dogs - to high spec UK luxury houses with pedigree cats, I have serendipitously carved out a happy, humble life dedicated to the care of animals within their own homes.  Their safety and good health, both emotional and physical is my greatest concern.  A huge heart and a broad spectrum of experience has taken me to Spain, Portugal, Scotland, England and Wales.

Now settled in Ross-on-Wye and available for housesitting, drop-in visits and safe, responsible dog walking in and around the Wye Valley & Forest of Dean.  Elderly or young pets, special diets, or pets needing meds are especially nurtured. Dogs, cats, small animals, poultry, sheep, equine, have all flourished in my loving care with the familiarity of their usual routines and dog walking routes.

Additionally, I specialise in the care & security of properties on the market, B&B/glamping site businesses that need relief managers or holiday-let homes benefitting from over-winter occupation.
